Ford USA - Fairlane 500 Galaxie Skyliner - 1959
This is a “COMPLETELY ORIGINAL” unit. We imported the car in 1988. We are the 2nd owner, as the documents state. During the period of 1988 until now (32 years) , she participated in various rallies and has always been stored in a frost-free environment at room temperature. This Ford simply drives great, everything works (even the radio) , the suspension is extraordinary, the automatic transmission works properly, and starting is not a problem! The original owners manual will be included. Also included is a separate book with all of the electrical diagrams and mechanical parts of the "hard top" (very useful!) . As you can see from the pictures, the hard top goes in the trunk - fully electrically operated. It should be noted that cruising in this Skyliner will make a lot of heads turn, as this surely is a striking vehicle! A test drive can be arranged whenever the weather is dry! The car is in Aalter, the Netherlands.
