Ford USA - Mustang | 1967 | Deluxe- 1967
From the first owner (Dutch) and totally restored, quite rare in this condition! The Ford Mustang has been one of Ford’s most prominent models. Stylist John Najjar was a fan of the P-51 Mustang fighter jet (hence the name) . The first copy rolled out of the factory on 17 April 1964 and a lot of copies were sold ever since. Its sporty look and its low price turned this car into success. 23,000 dollars. The Mustang is still being produced and is still very popular in the US. This is because its price of approximately 20,000 dollars is very low compared to similar cars. During the 1960s, the Mustang also sold relatively well in the Netherlands. From about 1965 to 1967, the Mustang was also assembled in the Netherlands, in the Dutch Ford factory in Amsterdam.
. What makes this copy unique is the fact that it was entirely restored over the course of years. The body was entirely stripped and treated with anti-rust epoxy after which it was rebuilt from scratch with utmost car and attention. Backed up by a book full of photos, invoices and reports. Engine and gearbox entirely revised by specialists including Habets in Nuth, the Netherlands. Since the restoration in 2002, this car always stood indoors and drove only about 8,000 km. Always owned by one and the same enthusiast. This car is truly unique in our opinion, a must-see for every Mustang enthusiast. Also, all of the original parts are present.
. We kindly invite you to come to Sassenheim (the Netherlands) to examine the car and all of the documentation, very special!
