Ford Thunderbrid 1st series. V8 engine 4785 cc petrol 193 HP Manual Built on 28-02-1956. Unladen vehicle mass 1,580 kg. In the introduction colour of model year 1956: Sage Green Thunderbird Green. Rare 1st series Thunderbrid, manual type. Model year 1956 with Continental kit and 12 volts. Including a correct hardtop for that period with portholes. Odometer reading 94,280 miles, plausible, no maintenance history available. Original and not restored, resprayed in the past, it’s American paintwork. From Utah (USA) . It has a Dutch registration since 2013. The car drives, not restored, very original patina, the paintwork could have been done better. New soft-top included in the colour beige, not fitted, the original frame for the soft-top is mounted. Interior largely original, the carpet was replaced in the past. Recently fitted with a new fuel pump. Chrome and trim very neat including the glass. It’s a true survivor. This 1956 Ford T-Bird can be viewed in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
