. The Ford Thunderbird, which was introduced in 1955, is a car produced by Ford and originally intended as a competitor to the Corvette which was a flop at the time. Although the Corvette was a nice racer, Ford did things differently: they built a sporty luxury car not intended for racing, but rather for cruising. It was offered as a coupé or as a convertible with a hardtop. It was an immediate success which was partly due to the fact there wasn’t much competition.

. This Thunderbird is in neat condition. The car starts immediately and idles nicely, shifts smoothly and with power through all gears and brakes properly. The engine compartment looks fresh and well-maintained. The car was resprayed in the Netherlands in July 2019, this still looks new.
