Ford USA - Thunderbird 292CI V8 Cabriolet - NO RESERVE - 1955
Don’t let this opportunity pass you by and become the new owner of this timeless classic Ford Thunderbird! The Ford Thunderbird, which was introduced in 1955, is a car produced by Ford and originally intended as a competitor to the Corvette which was unsuccessful at the time. Although the Corvette was a nice racer, Ford addressed things differently: they built a sporty luxury car not intended for racing but rather for cruising. It was offered as a coupé or as a convertible with a hardtop. It was an immediate success which was partly due to the fact that there wasn’t much competition. This Thunderbird is in a neat condition. The car starts immediately and idles nicely, shifts smoothly and powerful through all gears and brakes properly. The engine compartment also looks fresh and well-maintained. This is an older restoration, the car has recently been equipped with; -\t. New Radial tyres -\t-New fuel tank -\t. New stainless steel exhaust (complete) -\t. New suspensions -\t. New brake booster -\t- new brakes and pipes -\t. New regulator -\t.
