Designed by artist Raphael Boutillie, a French tourism advertisement for Fort Mahon (or Fort Vauban), a sea fort in the Pas de Calais, France, built in the 17th century on the orders of Louis XIV. The French language poster depicts human figures on the Plage de Famille ("family beach") with a blue sky, and birds flying overhead. Printed by Affiches Gallandat, Paris, circa 1900.
