Brother photographers étienne and Louis-Antonin Neurdein founded their photography company in Paris ca. 1885. It was known as Neurdein Frères and used the logo ND. At their studio in Paris, they employed a wide variety of photographic techniques, including salt, albumen, carbon and bromide prints. Some photographs were used as the basis for engravings.
