Fossil Fish Nematonotus longispinus Cretaceous Lebanon 3.29 x 2.22 x 0.44 inches (8.36 x 5.64 x 1.12 cm) This adorable fossil fish out of the quarries of Lebanon is a nicely contrasting golden-brown color. The fossil is well-preserved and fairly complete, representing the variety Nematonotus, a type of prehistoric predatory fish. The orange coloration of the fascinating specimen contrasts well against the cream colored limestone making this one fine, uncommon specimen from the Middle East.
