Four American Silver Serving Pieces
Four American Coin and Sterling Silver Serving Pieces
late 19th/early 20th century, including:
a Bailey & Co. coin "Fiddle Thread" cake knife, monogrammed "CMA-GEW-CAH", l. 13-1/4";
a J. E. Caldwell & Co. sterling "down tipt" crumber with engraved floral handle and blade, l. 12-1/2";
a Reed & Barton sterling "Les Six Fleurs" casserole spoon, monogrammed "CAD", l. 9-5/8"; and
a Whiting sterling "Oval Twist" pastry spade, l. 9".
19.87 total t. oz. (including filled handle cake knife)
Condition Report: **The cake knife handle has been re-seated with some solder marks around the join; even so, the blade is slightly extruded. Otherwise it and all the other pieces are in good used condition with some signs of age and use, but no detracting condition issues. The sterling pieces are so marked, and all have the manufacturer's/retailer's trademark.
