Four Britannia Tea Service Items,
Shaw & Fisher (1830-94), Sheffield, England, c. 1890.
All with ribbed and fluted walls, spurred scroll handles, and bulbous bases raised on cast acanthus and anthemion feet, the milk pitcher and covered sugar bowl marked "RF / 1662" on bottom, the teapot impressed as above with an oval medallion inscribed "SHAW & FISHER / 43 SUFFOLK ROAD / SHEFFIELD" and the number "3", and the coffeepot impressed "30 / SHAW & FISHER / SHEFFIELD / 1662 / 5", (coffeepot, excluding finial) wd. 8, dp. 5, ht. 9 in.
