Set of Four Calligraphies by Zhang Mingke (1829 - 1908).
1. This calligraphy is mounted to a fabric and paper handscroll. It has a seal. It is approximately 52 1/2 inches long by 12 1/2 inches wide.
2. This calligraphy is mounted to scroll paper, and is approximately 53 inches long by 12 3/8 inches wide.
3. This calligraphy is mounted to a fabric and paper scroll, is signed and has three seals. It is approximately 53 inches long by 12 inches wide.
4. This calligraphy is mounted to a fabric and paper scroll, and it is approximately 52 inches long by 12 inches wide. Condition: The first calligraphy is in good condition. When rolled out, the scroll retains roll waves, and there are moisture stains, but most of them are on the fabric, and the ones that are not blend into the paper. The second calligraphy is in good condition. There are some moisture stains, but mostly it is contained on the fabric. The third calligraphy is in good condition. There are some moisture stains to the paper and fabric, however, the stains on the paper blend into it. The fourth scroll is in good condition. However, over one of the characters, there is approximately a 2 1/2 inch tear. Condition applies only to the art or calligraphy, and not to the backing, frame, or mounting.
