Three enamelled in famille rose: two with mandarin pattern, the first with an elegant lady, and a gentleman playing with a child, surrounded by two figures looking onto the scene from their windows; the other with a child greeting his father, by a seaside town; one with a European subject, decorated with figures conversing in a garden landscape; the last painted in underglaze blue, depicting two quails surrounded by various blooms, along the waterside, 9.5cm – 17cm high. Condition Report:
Small mandarin pattern: missing lid, rubbing to gilt, at least three shallow surface flakes to the outside of the mouth, slight overpainting to two figures, at least three hairlines, the longest from the mouth rim, replaced handle and spout. Large mandarin pattern: fritting and overpainting to the lid finial, 2.5cm repair to the lid with overpainting, six shallow surface flakes to the rim of the lid, replaced spout. European subject: 2cm chip to interior of the foot rim, shallow chips to the lid rim, probable gilt touch up. Blue and white: 0.5cm shallow chip to the mouth of the spout, slight fritting to edge of the handle, three 0.5-1cm chips to the foot rim, multiple very small chips to the mouth rim.
