Trenton Area, South Carolina, circa 1880-1890, two stoneware churns, olive green alkaline glazes, both stamped "W.F. HAHN TRENTON S.C." and "2", applied lug handles, flared rims, 14-3/4 in.; two Hahn attributed alkaline glazed stoneware pitchers, one olive green the other light olive, ridged neck, applied handles, collared rim, 8-3/4 in. - Provenance: Collection of Dr. Joseph T. and Gaile E. Wingard, Jacksonville, Florida
Condition Report: glaze voids and anomalies as made, one churn pieced back together, large stabilized spiral crack around lower to mid body of jar, large star crack to entire base, other large associated cracks splitting off main spiral crack going down to base and up to rim of jar, 1-/14 rim chip at crack, other minor rim chip, the other churn with several rim chips, the largest is 1 in., 2 in. loss to one handle, several smaller losses to other handle and smaller chips, glaze wear, lid shelf chips and wear, light green pitcher with restorations to most of rim, 15 in. stabilized hairline around lower body up belly to rim, olive green pitcher with 9 in hairline from base to rim with associated rim loss, 3/4 in. rim chip and other minor chipÿ
