Four late 19th century Spanish tourist fans: The first showing the village street scene of the Barber of Seville, the client holding the shaving bowl whilst the barber is distracted by gallant gentlemen throwing down a cloak to help ladies cross a puddle, light wood, lightly gilded, guard approx. 32 5 cm; together with a fan of black satin boldly painted, in detail, with the entry of the matadors on horseback into the bullring, in their finery, followed by workers with their dog, watched by wealthy spectators, annotated with the shout “Buena Suerte Señor” and perhaps a date, incomplete “Paso á P….?y9”, guard approx. 35 cm; a large fan on wood sticks, the leaf showing “ La Feria de Sevilla” , a scene of stalls selling refreshments and local people gathering in their holiday finery, the tower of the Giralda in Seville in the background, guard approx. 37.5 cm; and a final fan with bullring scene, the bull and perhaps the picador, others looking on, the crowd in the stand behind, pale wood monture, lightly incised, guard approx. 37.5 cm (4) (Shipping category C)
