The subjects are: Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur (reg. 1884-1930); the Maharajah of Charkhari (in Bundelkhand); Thakur Sahib of Palitana (Gujarat); the late Rajah of Dhar, Malwa province (this last handwritten).
The original collection, Princes and Chiefs of India, with accompanying text by Jehangir Sorabji, comprised more than seventy portraits.
