Framed Chancay Polychrome Textile Panel w/ Zoomorphs
Pre-Columbian, central coast Peru, Chancay culture, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. A fascinating textile displaying a pair of abstract avian figures flanked above and below by a border of horizontal bands, all adorned in hues of maroon, marigold, olive, pink, caramel, beige, black, and white.
