Chinese dragon robe, executed in silk with silk embroidery and gold couching, decorated with dragon roundels depicting five clawed writhing dragons contesting pearls of wisdom amidst auspicious cloud forms, all on a leiwen field scattered with good luck symbols such as bats, peaches, lotus blossoms, vases, scrolls, lingzhi, and butterflies, above a line of waves centering Penglai, the mountain of the Immortals, on a persimmon ground, overall size with shadowbox frame 53.75"h x 51.5"w x 2"d.
