Framed 1908 Du Pont Advertising Oilcloth Print "Geneva" by Edmund H. Osthaus, featuring a sporting setter standing on point in a wooded hunting scene. The image appears to be printed on oilcloth, a format commonly used for durable period advertising and sporting displays. The lower left corner is printed "GENEVA / BY TONY BOY - LENA BELLE / 1903", followed by "Copyright 1908 by E. I. Du Pont De Nemours Powder Co." The print measures approximately 18" x 14" and is presented under glass with a buff-tone mat in a wood frame measuring approximately 25-1/2" x 21-1/2" overall.
Condition
Print displays well with a small stain at the bottom of the matting. Wood frame shows light scuff marks.
