superb large and slender horse pistol, flintlock system, in calibre 15 mm, manufactured at the very beginning of the eighteenth century (1700 - 1730) - European manufacture, model for the East (probably Afghanistan) . functional 2-notch lock with very large percussion (typical spring for oriental weapons - still cocks very tightly) - slight play in the hammer, no effect on the percussion. - lock / hammer / steel flash pan, still in attractive, good condition. - long barrel, hallmarked at the bolt. - fittings and envelope (studded) in chiselled brass, in its patina, still uniform - with a brass rod and steel head, shortened and clearly posterior antique pistol, more than 200 years old, with marks, scratches and signs of age and use (very small gap in the wood in front of the lock - see photo) , but still in a very beautiful state of presentation.
