superb, very large flintlock pistol, deluxe model, 16 mm calibre, late 18th century/very early 19th century, made in the Middle East or the Balkans. functional lock with 2 notches, assured and well synchronized with very big percussion. - superb lock and finely chiselled steel hammer - engraved brass flash pan - long barrel engraved and hallmarked on the bolt. - butt in beautiful finely carved walnut wood inlaid with silver filigree - brass fittings - brass rod with steel head, evidently added later. Antique pistol about 200 years old, with wear, scratches and signs of age and use, small gaps, but still in a superb state of presentation (the weapon appears to have been little used - see pictures, which are part of the description) .
