Large flintlock pistol for the orient - circa 1800: Caliber: 15mm Barrel length: 32 cm Pistol length: 49 cm Period: late 18th or early 19th century. Plate with flat body of 12 cm, entirely engraved with volutes. Engraved flat-bodied dog, round basin. Barrel with sides then round, hallmarked with thunder. Mechanism in good condition, complete and functional, very firm springs. The inside of the barrel is smooth and in good condition. Beautiful wood in good condition with many engravings.
