interesting 1822 model shotgun, flintlock system converted to percussion around 1840, transformed for civilian use after reform (wood and barrel shortened - suppression of swivel ring, muzzle band and muzzle spring - modified hammer) . It works perfectly mechanically, with two well-synchronised notches and very large percussion. - all brass fittings, hallmarked (Nicolas Darcantel - 1807 to 1817) - modified percussion plate with signature of the Royal Manufacture, now illegible. - civilian metal rod with brass tip - waxed / oiled wood, unvarnished, with traces of old fillings, small holes and small gaps, old re-gluing under the barrel, but still solid and in quite good condition. - barrel with signs of use, but still in good, attractive condition - bayonet holder present. - cap in good condition. - rod certainly replaced (hallmark stamped by Toussaint - Manufacturer of Mutzig) . antique regulatory rifle, close to 200 years old, converted for civilian use, with signs of age and wear, but still in good aesthetic condition and with very good functioning.
