1822 model regulatory pistol, formerly with flintlock, manufactured at the Royal Arms Factory of Tulle (Inspector Jean Cazamajou, 1811-1824) , converted to percussion 1822 T around 1840, then T Bis in 1865 at the Imperial Arms Factory of Saint Etienne. Functional lock with two notches and strong percussion. - Barrel converted to T Bis, with rifling marks still visible. - Lock with manufacturer’s signature worn down, but still legible. - Hallmarked fittings and parts. - Beautiful varnished walnut wood mount, with old repair under the barrel, but still solid. - With its standard-issue rod. Interesting regulatory cavalry pistol, weapon of war that was in use from the Louis XVIII period until the end of the second empire, with signs of wear and age, old traces of gunpowder oxidation, but still solid, with good functioning.
