Very nice old regulatory carabiner model 1822 T, caliber 18 mm, lockplate signed by the Manufacture Royale de Saint Etienne and hallmarked by Claude Merley (1822 to 1848) . Rifle transformed civilian around 1860 with carved wood and shortened barrel. lock with 3 perfectly synchronized positions (1st very short) and very large percussion - functional half-weapon safety - original parts, numbered L280 (plate / hammer - barrel - trigger guard) - wand numbered 187 - small lack of the dog (left side - see photos) - beautiful varnished walnut wood, with old small holes, small gaps, but solid and remained in good condition - polished steel with small stains and bites but in good condition old regulatory rifle, in its patina, with its traces of use and time, old traces of corrosion, but remained in good condition and with perfect mechanical functioning.
