A set of two magnificent percussion chest pistols Walnut wood ‘water drop’ butt with silver plates Round, unscrewable, damasked (spiral) barrel, 4 rifling marks at the muzzle. The trigger is retractable, it comes out when the hammer is engaged. The hammer is firm. One cap in good condition, and the other will be replaced (new) . Very beautiful craftsmanship with foliate scrollwork on the body. Antique luxury weapon. Hallmarked ‘38’ and ‘29’ under the barrel, and all the parts are original! ‘BG’ on each pistol, and ‘T’ on the hammer.
