Magnificent exceptional percussion pistol, very luxurious and elegant. Full of details that make it gorgeous, unique and rare! Fully carved Renaissance type butt. The body is completely chiselled with magnificent foliage scrolls and floral motifs. (one of the motifs looks like LEFAUCHEUX to me) Very nicely crafted hammer and cap (very rare) . Octagonal barrel with sides that become round and smooth, with two bulges. Hallmark 7 under the barrel and all the original parts! The barrel can be unscrewed and is grooved in a flower (very rare) . Firing sight. INSCRIPTION ON THE BARREL "PORTEE GARANTIE with the numbers? ? ? " See all photos for more details. Very nice pistol, cleaned, in working condition, suitable for firing. It is much nicer in real life than in the photos. This is a really unique pistol, I’ve never seen anything like it. Ideal for a great collector of luxurious and antique weapons or even for a shooting enthusiast of antique weapons! It must’ve belonged to a bourgeois and why not, someone in a very high position. It would be perfect in a magnificent small red velvet box.
