Imposing superior officer's pinfire six-shot revolver, 12 mm calibre, EUGENE LEFAUCHEUX 1858 model (rare and sought-after) . ‘EL68’ hallmark on the cylinder. ‘EL’ hallmark inside crest on the barrel ‘46’ on the inner cylinder. ‘Y’ with crown Hallmark from the Liège proof house: ‘ELG’ in an oval, valid from 20th February 1811 to 11th July 1893. The barrel chambers and rifling marks are in absolutely new/mint condition. In very good working order. Good percussion, with good trigger return, the hammer stays cocked. The grip plates are very beautiful in walnut wood. Ring on buttcap. Revolver with a very good finish, nothing to do with some other revolvers. Very nice butt: walnut burr type. The air gap allows the space of a sheet of paper. (Ideal width) Total length: 30 cm Barrel: 16 cm
