Superb and interesting percussion defence pistol, miquelet lock in 69 calibre (17. 6 mm at muzzle) , made in the mid-19th century. The lock is functional, with two well-synchronised notches - solid spring - lock and hammer made of finely engraved polished metal - with its belt hook and metal rod - barrel with engravings on the bolt - all fittings are made of chiselled iron - lovely gridded walnut wood butt, with an old re-gluing under the barrel (left side) , small lacks, but still solid and in nice condition. - worn cap Very interesting defence pistol, over 150 years old, patinated, with signs of wear and scratches from age and use, but still in good condition.
