Pair of French Percussion Boxlock pistols circa 1855 in a book case. Steel round screwable barrels ( we did not tryed to unscrew it) ; steel body box lock type, folding triggers, Vegetalists engravings in the body, Black painted drop type walnut stocks ( small restoration in one) Signed Ducasse á Miramont. . Working fine in two positions . Springs very strong,Nipples ok. In one pistol the trigger is not folding properly ,needs finger help to arm. Keep that in mind when bidding. Ducasse ; Gun smith in Miramont near Bordeaux ( Gironde) in 1854. Made Luxury Weapons and Army ones.
