beautiful old rifle, double barrels, signed and hallmarked by the Manufacture Nationale de Saint Etienne (circa 1870/1880) , pin system (Lefaucheux) in caliber 16. functional mechanics - with 2 positions (half-weapon and weapon) and large percussion. It is necessary to cock, slowly, first the left hammer, then the right, and, to start shooting first from the left then from the right one (spring a little weaker on the left - but good percussion) . good unlocking / locking and tilting function, almost free of play - barrel in its attenuated tan, but remained fairly homogeneous, with small spots, but in good condition for its 150 years. - wood in beautiful walnut, with small signs of use and time, small gaps (see photos) but remained solid and in good condition. beautiful rifle, close to 150 years old, in its patina, with its old traces of corrosion, use and time, but remained in good condition and with functional mechanics.
