Checkered walnut root stocks w/ butt " Neo Renaissance" style , finishing in carved shell ( Coquilles de St Jaques) , steel barrel eight fold, past damasked, riffled, Silvered steel garrisons decorated with ornate and vegetalist motifs . The lock w/ ornate engravings, . Working fine, in the both positions , semi armed and armed, very strong springs. Wood w/ brass cup rod. aime screw present ( a top hammer small welding hardly noticible) . High quality provenance. Beatiful shinning patina. A magnificent conversation piece.
