Very rare: This is a pre-1900 carbine by Charles François Galand (1832-1900) who was a French gunsmith working in Liege, Belgium and Paris with the ELG Liege hallmarks, 80% of the barrel tanning, clear two-notched percussion and gridded walnut butt in superb condition, trigger guard with thumb rest. Barrel with sides then round in very good interior condition, 67 cm, 9 mm cal. Sight mechanisms are there. Total length: 104 cm A lovely collectable weapon that will be even more lovely when it is cleaned, the butt is dirty, patinated over time. Shipped with insurance and signature required upon delivery.
