682 - ‘D’Arçon’ flintlock pistol, period Louis XVI/Directory (1780/1800) Signed "PERRIN" under the lock (it could be Perrin Lepage in Poitiers) . Weapon’s colour returned, polished white, markings are partly erased. Lock with hammer and flat body. Barrel with sides on the thunder then rounded, 13 mm calibre with round forced bullets. Iron jack, finely chiselled with foliage scrolls, as is the trigger guard. Walnut mount (small restoration to the tip) . Long-eared iron buttcap. 2-notched load, strong percussion (new spring) .
