Complete flintlock modified percussion rifle 1822T Garde Nationale Superb flintlock rifle (originally model 1777 or 1822) transformed to percussion (mdl 1822 T) . Sound metal parts, in a very nice shiny condition - no rust even on the surface! Very beautiful and healthy walnut rifle wood not pitted and with its varnish. Plate that works perfectly well, 3 positions for the dog (position shot / half-cocked / cocked) . Functional trigger relaxation. Numerous markings on wood and metal parts: - Platinum: DPF & P marking St Etienne (The DFP & P. marking would mean: DESCOS Frères PAILLARD & PEYRET, arquebusiers in Saint-Etienne (Loire) around 1830 for the equipment of the National Guard guaranteeing the regime of King Louis-Philippe. ) Platinum interior: many make-up including the number 6 on several elements, DP inside the hammer (certainly corresponding to DESCOS - Frères PAILLARD like the rest of the rifle) , G star, 248 on platinum and M surmounted by a crown for Merley Claude the reviser of the St Etienne factory from 1822 to 1848, - Wood under the butt: C GICHARD + letter M + letter G surmounted by a crown + 17 - Stock: round badge with marking around the edge of ST ETIENNE and the rest of DESCOS PAILLARD & PEYRET and trace of the July Monarchy rooster in the center. - Barrel: C DE 17-8 Characteristics : Total length 141. 5 cm Barrel length 103 cm Curb weight: 3. 8Kg Rod: 102. 5 cm Collector's firearm, category D (over-the-counter to adult) Registered shipping with declared value (via UPS because not possible by post due to covid restrictions and parcel size limits) .
