A rare Napoleonic period French Cuirassiers heavy Cavalry sword dated 1813. A fabulous cavalry sword of the Napoleonic period, this pattern sword was originally carried by the tall and fierce Cuirassiers of Napoléon's Grande Armee and was the same pattern cavalry sword carried before and during the battle of Waterloo on June 1815. Complete in its original steel scabbard with two hanging rings. The hilt stamped on the brass edge within V F B 35 in circular stamps and numbered 6001 with B AND AN L TO THE BLADE uncleaned superb condition
