Guard cuirassier Pallasch in rare excellent condition, France. The cuirassiers were originally pure aristocratic cavalry, heavy cavalry. Beautiful, bare, double-fulled straight blade with a needle point, on the back with manufacturer's engraving "Mre IMPale de CHATt Mars 1863 CARABer 1854" Two acceptance marks on the heel. The blade is in absolutely fantastic condition as mirrorless and smooth as glass, so that it reflects. The blade has very few minimal oil stains approx. 1 mm in size, it is just old gun oil, so no rust or corrosion, see many pictures - quite a rare condition. Brass hilt with troop stamp "17094" and acceptance stamp "S *" on the handle, the handle covered with leather and wrapped in brass wire. Leather and brass wire without damage. The silver-plated steel scabbard with a carrying ring and stamped "94". The scabbard is also in very good condition, the silver plating of the scabbard has been darkened a bit over time, the metal is absolutely fine. The Pallasch sits tightly in the sheath. Everything is completely solid, nothing wobbles. A very nice weapon in "museum" condition. See many pictures, every inch can be seen.
