Light cavalry troops sword, 1822 model - year: 1873 Total length: 110 cm, blade 91. 5 cm Serial number of sabre 130, sheath 2809 Three-branched brass hand-guard. Wooden grip sheathed in leather, with twisting filigree. Beautiful curved, faceted blade, engraved on the back ‘Manufacture Nationale de Châtellerault, janvier 1873, cavalerie légère mle 1822’.
