superb flintlock defense pistol, hallmarked barrel of the Manufacture Royale de St Etienne, manufactured in Charles X period (around 1820/1825) , in 12 mm caliber at the mouth. good mechanical operation, with 2 notches guaranteed and percussion still dry perfect battery operation. - cannon with sides, with attenuated engraving, but remained in a very good state of conservation - platinum and metal fittings with small traces, scratches and marks of use of a 200 year old weapon, but remained in very good condition - stock and frame in walnut, with also its marks and signs of use but remained solid and in good condition. - small end of barrel fixing point certainly changed later - with its loading rod and small flint - light dog play (rest position) of an old weapon, no play in weapon and half-weapon position. very beautiful collector's item which remained in very good condition.
