Superb rifle of cavalry model 1866, dated 1870 and modified model 1866-74 in 1879. Manufacture of Saint Etienne (adaptation of the cartridge 1866-74, cannon-breech tanning and breech re-numbering) . functional breech with frank percussion - model, markings and hallmarks of the Manufacture's controls. - bronze hallmarked fittings. - barrel in good condition (inside / outside) - original percussion point, remained in good condition (see photos, breech disassembled) - regulatory rod - wood markings that have become unreadable very nice rifle of the second empire period, with traces, marks and signs of use and time of a combat weapon (small wooden splint on the right side - see photos) , but remained in very good and working condition.
