France, 2nd Restauration (1815-1830) - Louis-Philippe (1830-1848) . Infantry officer sabre for the National Guard, model 1821. Very nice old blade. The original blade was probably a cavalry sabre from the time of the 1st Empire, which was shortened and reused. The upper part of the blade was blued and gilded (see pictures) Black leather sheath with two brass fittings. (leather damage, seam is 20 cm open, the mouthpiece and tip separated from the leather) .
