France.- Moll (Herman) A New and Exact Map of France Divided into all its Provinces and Acquisitions, according to the Newest Observations, and that accurate Survey made by the King's Command by Mr Picar and de la Hire, with the Post Roads and the Computed Leagues from Town to Town, the Passes of the Pirenean Mountains, and many other Remarcks &c, engraved map on two sheets joined, overall 615 x 970 mm (24 x 38 1/4 in), with outline hand-colouring, large title cartouche and side panels with distances of towns from Paris, old folds (as issued), some splitting with a few old repairs verso, numerous nicks and tears to edges, unframed, printed for H. Moll, J. Bowles, P. Overton, T. Bowles and John King, [circa 1730]; together with 6 further maps of France and its regions, including a hand-coloured Ortelius 'Nobilis Hannoniae comitatus descriptio', Hondius's 'Namurcum comitatus', De L'Isle's 'The Province of Artois and the Country Adjacent', and Homann's 'Tabula Geographica Campaniae', and others, all unframed, mainly 17th and 18th century (7)
