The lock is marked by Manufacture d'armes de Saint Etienne. Same serial number marked on the thunder, breech and bayonet tenon, L 46743. Thunder marked S 1880 (S for Saint Etienne) . Moving breech mechanism in very good condition, complete and functional, tight lock. Round grooved barrel, very distinct rifling marks. Wood in good condition (very hard) , there was a repaired break on the bottom of the butt and a repaired crack under the thunder. Recent leather strap in very good condition.
