France - artisan a Saint Etienne - pistolet a deux canons en damas frisé, en table - pistolet de poche - Percussion - travel weapon - 11mm
Lovely small nicely-built pocket gun: the hexagonal barrels are made of Damascus with frieze and not cast steel like most of the ones we encounter. The weapon has some fine engravings and looks good. The trigger mechanism works well. Its only defect: the right hammer spring is very weak. Nowadays this isn’t serious because the weapons are only for display, but if it were to be used, the spring would definitely need to be changed.
