France - second Empire - Manufacture Impériale de Tulle - 1822 T Bis - Cavalry - Percussion - Pistol - 17,6 mm
Magnificent cavalry pistol in almost perfect condition, extremely rare in this condition, built in 1855 under the Second Empire. Round barrel marked T 1855 and "C 17. 6 A" in perfect condition. It is numbered 1388, both on the barrel and on the butt, which proves its authenticity. Well marked bolt tail Mle 1822 T Bis. Superb and flawlessly functioning percussion turntable. Perfect punch from the controller in Tulle. All brass fittings stamped D and or H. Tulip baguette well stamped. The underside of the barrel and the inside of the stock are very well stamped with the same number X 191. The weapon built in 1855 was bored and scratched in St Etienne in 1861. Everything is in near new condition, we can see a very slight dent in the stock the size of a lens on the right side, close to the heel, visible in the last photo. Not found in such a state of preservation.
