Francesco Trombetta (Catania , 1967), Little breezes
Oil on canvas
h 40X120 cm in frame h 48X128 cm
Signed on the back.
Francesco Trombetta is an artist from Catania. He began painting as a child, inspired by the passion passed down to him by his grandfather, whose small studio he frequented. There, he learned patience with mixing paints, respect for the material, and the value of silence before a blank canvas. These lessons will remain etched in his memory as a spiritual legacy. Over the years, he has developed a personal, intense, and material language, where the power of color intertwines with the memory of place. Sicily, with its incandescent landscapes, restless skies, and sea merging with the light, becomes a constant presence in his research. For the artist, the pictorial gesture, often accompanied by music, is a form of dynamic meditation: each work is the result of a dialogue between instinct and reflection, between the sound that suggests and the hand that translates.
