Francis De Lassus Saint-Genies—a French artist born in Val-André, Brittany. He studied at the Académie Julian in Paris. Within the refined chromatic palette of his compositions, Saint-Genies creates his own mysterious symbols. The great-grandson of composer Charles GOUNOD, he presents us with a universe of sweet harmonies, where everything is music. Enchanted by women, he paints his “awakened dreams.” His delicate figures invite us to follow them into a world of harmony, happiness, and love. Saint-Genies’ works capture the moment when the artist discovers a new facet of womanhood—the woman of his dreams, where a kiss is meant to last for eternity.
