Measure 25 3/4"in H x 20"in W

This diamond-shaped handmade paper kite created by Oaxacan artist Francisco Benjam?n L?pez Toledo displays a warm, earthy gradient ranging from golden ochre to dark charcoal, centered around white stenciled motifs depicting a stylized frog flanked by two circular symbols with keyhole slits. The reverse side reveals the underlying structural framework with wooden support stays, a hand-written signature, and a yellow label from the Amigos del Taller Arte Papel Oaxaca, A.C.?an organization founded in 1998 in San Agust?n Etla to produce handmade natural-fiber paper, promote local cultural activities, and support reforesting initiatives. Decorated with an etched grasshopper/moth illustration, the attached tag notes that renowned Oaxacan artists, including Francisco Toledo, donated engravings to create notebook covers and raise funds for the workshop and its eco-cultural projects.
