Listed Italian painter, Franco Bonetti (b. 1958 Florence) lives and works in Reggio Emilia. Attended “Gaetano Chierici” Art Institute and studied with Vittorio Cavicchioni and Graziano Pompili. Beginning his career as a set designer, he has become one of the most sought-after designers worldwide for opera and theater sets. Bonetti has had many solo art exhibitions at museums and galleries across Italy and throughout Europe and the United States. Bonetti’s exhibitions always feature art created around a central theme. This work, as well as The Red Fire, was featured in an exhibition that traveled in Italy, as well as New York City, Orlando, and Dallas.
