The Albums de Croÿ were a richly illustrated collection of documents related to the holdings of the House of Croÿ, a noble family that rose to prominence in the 15th century under the Dukes of Burgundy and were created Dukes of Croÿ in 1598. The albums were begun around 1590 under the direction of Charles III de Croÿ (1560-1612), and continued to be produced until around 1610. Their illustrations offer an extraordinary record of the towns and villages of the southern Netherlands of their time. This view of Dion-le-Mont shows the parish church of Saint Martin, overloooking the village itself.
