Note:
Francia worked in London for much of his life, serving as a Member and Secretary of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours. He worked as painter in watercolours to the Duchess of York, but is perhaps best known as the tutor of Richard Parkes Bonnington (1802-1828).
